I’ve been looking for somewhere like this to retire, my first thought was Victoria or somewhere in BC. But this may be just the place since it isn’t far from there. What kinda lifestyle is it? I’d like a relaxed yet active one if possible.

Yeah, passed through this area during my college years as well. Likely the next visit to the region will start with a cruise out of seattle up the coast to alaska.

I just took a trip around the Olympic Peninsula and it was gorgeous. Highly recommended. What a wonderful place to live! And you’re only an hour and a half from Forks, a tiny town featuring a pretty great logging museum and the setting for the extremely popular “Twilight” series of fantasy novels.
