This Sequim water view is just stunning from the main deck and from the master bedroom deck upstairs, too. We live on the gorgeous Olympic Peninsula in the great Northwest only two hours west of Seattle. While we are surrounded by water on a “peninsula,” finding a stunning Sequim water view is not easy. The inventory for extraordinary homes like this is very limited.
Who wouldn’t want a Sequim water view? But of course buyers do pay a premium for an extraordinary water view. The view in this photo includes a view of Protection Island in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. This lot is full of beautiful trees, including Madronas and spruce and several others. The bluff is very stable with large root systems and vegetation.
By the way, I just sold this home representing the buyer, and the home was a For Sale by Owner. How much? $655,000, which is an excellent price for this home and property and view. The walls in this house are 2×6 construction with plywood on the interior walls and sheetrock on the plywood. This home could withstand a hurricane. The kitchen includes my favorite propane stove and oven–a Victory. I suppose I’m saying the obvious, but this home in the Santa Barbara area with this water view would probably be two to three million dollars.
You can use my Sequim-Homes.com MLS site to search for all listed homes in western Washington covering the whole northwest, which includes both of the major MLS companies. And if you find a FSBO on Zillow, you can also hire me as your buyer’s agent, even if it’s not a Sequim water view.
I’m having a ball up here showing homes and representing buyers as an exclusive buyer’s agent, so if I can help you, don’t hesitate to reach out to me by phone or text (360-775-5424), or email (ChuckMarunde@gmail.com). And here’s an important tip. I represent buyers not only in the Sequim area, but also for surround areas, including Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Port Ludlow, Port Hadlock, and all of Whidbey Island as well as the islands between the Olympic Peninsula and Seattle’s shoreline. Why would anyone hire me as their buyer’s agent for a gorgeous luxury home on one of the San Juan Islands? If I may boldly answer that question–I am one of the most experienced buyer’s agent in the entire Northwest. Don’t you want the best representation you can get? I’m well worth the money. Oh wait, I don’t charge you as a buyer anything. The seller pays my fee. You’ve got to love that! A Buyer’s agent with decades in real estate, including 20 years as a real estate attorney. Call me and interview me if you’d like.
