Chuck has been in real estate for over four decades. He started in real estate at the age of 21 in Alaska, and went to law school to specialize in real estate. He opened his own real estate closing practice after law school (Gonzaga Law in Spokane), ran an escrow office, and practiced law as a JAG in the USAF before returning to Washington State to open up his own law practice. Chuck specialized in real estate transactions, real estate contracts, resolving disputes, real estate litigation, and representing clients buying and selling their homes. After 20 years of law practice, Chuck came full circle to owning and operating his own real estate brokerage.
Chuck grew up in remote Alaska, graduated from the University of Alaska with a degree in Economics and Teacher Certification, and after teaching high school for two years, went to law school at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He served four years as a Captain and JAG in the USAF at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. After practicing real estate law for 20 years in Washington, Chuck founded iRealty Virtual Brokers covering Sequim and the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. He is the author of 2,200 real estate articles and a dozen real estate books, and he produced over 100 real estate videos. Chuck combined his love for real estate and technology to create a massive Internet presence, and his articles and videos and books have been viewed by millions. Chuck is a well recognized real estate expert and his counsel is sought by other brokers and practicing attorneys around the country. Buyers from New York to Hawaii and from Florida to Alaska seek him out to retain him as their buyer's agent, and home owners around the State of Washington seek him out because of his new Flat Fee Listing Service.

A possible solution to low inventory….tiny homes and vanlife on borrowed or rented land. If there are farms, possibly they have work-trades. I just hate renting unless there’s a lease option. Another “foot in the door” short or long-term option for free housing + income by being a property manager or permanent caretaker. I’d be interested to know if any of the above is feasible/practical in that area (even if just outside Sequin and more inland.
I haven’t seen any opportunities like that in the area. If one did become available, it would probably be filled by someone who is already known by the owner or a friend they trust or someone who has been helping for a long time. You won’t see any job openings like that advertised.
