We are very pleased to share some good news about Sequim real estate sales. Good old fashioned honesty, hard work, and outstanding customer service has paid off, and Chuck Marunde sold more real estate so far in 2013 than any other single agent and any other real estate team in all of Clallam County. There are two reasons this is exciting, and both reasons are really big for our clients.

First, when it comes to Sequim real estate sales, I rarely even bother looking at the MLS statistics to see where I stand with respect to other agents in Sequim and Port Angles. Before this morning, the last time I bothered to look at the MLS stats was about six or eight months ago. The reason I don’t care who sells more or who has the greatest sales volume is because I have an entirely different focus. My focus is my clients and their best interests–one client at a time. I work hard everyday and do all that I can do. So let me explain why this is all so interesting to me.

While some agents might be focused on the goal of being number one in Sequim real estate sales or being in the top 10 in sales, that kind of singular focus can play against the best interests of clients, can create conflicts of interest, and is really its own business model with the goal of making the most money. In the end, where is a client’s best interests if volume and money are always first?
Sequim Real Estate Sales – The Reason for Success
Here’s what is so interesting. My personal assistant, Adie, and I discussed today what this victory really means to us. It isn’t all about being number one in Sequim real estate sales (or Clallam County). It isn’t about numbers. It’s a huge affirmation that our commitment to customer service one client at a time really is paying off. It is an affirmation that one can be successful without compromising honesty and without compromising integrity. Being number one in Sequim real estate sales is great, but not nearly as great as knowing we did it without compromising our values, and by placing every single one of our beloved clients at the center of everything we do. That’s why it feels so good. I’ve always said, “Work hard and do what is right, and the money will take care of itself.” Well, it’s true, but we have some folks to thank. A hearty thank you goes out to every single one of our clients. What incredible people each one of you are. You impress me so much, and I’m deeply grateful that you chose me to represent you.
