Why is Sequim so great? There are a lot of reasons, but here’s something I experienced this weekend. I took my daughter and my grandson for their first snowboarding lessons at Snoqualmie, which is a little more than a two hour drive from Sequim. For a great recreational activity like skiing and snowboarding, this little drive is a walk in the park. So here we are in Sequim within striking distance of some incredible ski slopes, Snoqualmie, Stevens, Crystal (my personal favorite), and a little further north, Baker. We also have a little hill here called Hurricane Ridge, but it’s not always open.
C’mon, does it get any better than this?
